Wireless 2022 with Gopuff was everything we could have expected and more. It was a weekend full of all of our favourite summer moments; loud buzzing music, connecting with friends, racing to the front to catch a good spot, and trying to avoid dropping ketchup on your new Air Force 1s. For us there is no better way to kick summer off than Wireless; they always manage to get the vibes just right, and after a long two years of sweaty moustache’s under masks, we’re glad to have these moments once again.
Kicking off the festival on Friday were some iconic moments in hip-hop and R&B history, including fan favourite Chris Brown finally bringing the summer smashes back to London for his first show in the UK since being banned.
As if that wasn’t enough, team Fenty stood loud and proud for RihRih’s beau A$AP ROCKY who closed the show, which sparkled with fashion killer swag. What made our day more than anything was getting that epic glimpse of post bay Rihanna in the crowd!
Because we just couldn’t get enough, we had to head down on Saturday for more fun in the sun. The atmosphere was slightly different than Friday as we had J Cole and Ari Lennox to balance and smooth us into the final day in London.
To keep the alternative juices flowing we got our converses and shorts in hand for Tyler The Creator, who made his Wireless debut and left the crowd jumping with hits from his Grammy winning album Call Me If You Get Lost. Transforming the stage throughout the show, there’s no doubt that T stole our hearts and converted many festival goers to die-hard fans.
Wireless is always a London staple and it will continue to hold its place as not only the UKs favourite festival, but an international hub for music lovers worldwide. If you’ve never been to a Wireless festival, we suggest you get your bum bags and outfits ready for next year as we know it’s only going to get bigger and better!
