Nando’s is bringing the heat with the release of a brand new film bursting with cameos as part of its new campaign This Must Be The Place. Celebrating the uniqueness of the Nando’s experience, the new film stars some of Nando’s famous fans including England striker Bukayo Saka, Instagram icon Grime Gran, TikTok chef LetsMunch and music artist Niko B. The spot plays out scenarios synonymous with the much-loved chicken chain that viewers will relate to, and will no doubt leave them wanting to get their next PERi-PERi fix ASAP.
England striker Saka’s surprise appearance in the film was teased earlier this week exclusively to Nando’s loyalty customers and follows his World Cup campaign with Nando’s last year which saw him reveal his go-to order and giveaway hundreds of meals to fans during the tournament.

Created by director of the cult Netflix Original Series ‘The End Of The F***ing World’ Jonathan Entwistle, the high-energy film champions some of Nando’s most iconic offerings from its bottomless sauce station to its refill drinks machine in a culmination of character stories that bring to life the Nando’s experience. Director Jonathan Entwistle said: “Nando’s is such a unique place! As a restaurant it obviously has its own distinct personality, but as a brand it offers the opportunity to be really playful and cool. I wanted to make sure this energy ran through the film. Layering up the Nandos stories with the really distinct characters from the creative allowed me to really nail a tone that is so perfectly Nando’s.”
Nando’s This Must Be The Place campaign will be amplified across NandosUK social channels with users able to share their favourite Nando’s stories for a chance to win an array of prizes throughout the year. The campaign will roll out in restaurants through digital takeovers, and each restaurant and employee will be invited to participate in the campaign too.
The film will air for the first time on TV Wednesday 1st March at 8:45pm during the FA Cup match between Manchester United and West Ham. The campaign will then roll out across TV, BVOD, Cinema, OOH, Social and Radio.
